the 4-3 has worked wonders for us this year, but if our new staff comes in wanting a 3-4 i think we should trade james anderson and jon beason.. then solidify the front 7 with the drafting of Manti T'eo.. a front 7 of hardy, ron, dwan with cj T'eo Keek TD/Alexander is very good. yes early but its a lost season lol. go ahead and say im an idiot but just a thought

You are indeed an idiot and need to read up on what a 3-4 defense is.

Edit: Your adopt a panther explains everything... my apologies.

If I was going to stand one of our DE's up as a pass rushing specialist OLB I'd actually put hardy there. Simply for the fact that he can do more with momentum, judging by the speed in his special teams play and his enormous size. This dude has really hit his foot on the gas pedal this year, he's an absolute mauler up front.

I might be the only Panther fan who thinks this but if we get the #1 pick I would draft Teo.Dude is without question the best player in this draft,he has Ray Lewis type of potential.Yeah we dont need another LB but Teo is too good to pass up.

We would be set for the next 7yrs with Luke/Teo leading our defense,im sure we could trade Beason for a draft pick he still has value around the league.

camon guys... you dont want a combo of Te'o/Keek?? dude...

we dont NEED that, but thats like never ending potential right there.. like I cant even process that

The truth is, we are going to part ways with some players we are going to miss, but we will get draft picks/ players for them that will fill our needs.

..............................................Martin...................................................................Godfrey...........................................................

.......................................................................TE"O...............KEUCKLY..........................................................................................

Norman.................................Alexander...........Dwan......Ron.....Hardy..............CJ....................................Gamble.....................

I mean you could switch any of those guys around on the Dline, I dont even have Anderson and Beason on there. Anderson could be an OLB. Dont forget about draft pick/ players we traded for to come in and fill in. idk i just think the Te'o + Keukly would just be insane.. and not TOO drastic of wholes on Defense. i mean seriously compensate an open cap from released/ traded players and picks and we could be set. Dont forget Norman and Alexander were late 4th and 5th round!

We need to scrap this transition idea to a 3-4....

We don't have the personnel. We don't have the cap space. We can't just cut/trade these contract players without some type of cap penalty...

The new GM needs to salvage what we have right now. We are simply not in a position to undergo a defensive scheme change.

3-4 idea is nonsense right now IMO

Martin likely won't be resigned, Dwan also only has a one year contract, this is Munnerlyn's contract year too. We have limited cap space and still have holes on defense and offense.

    • See that's the thing what I saw in game 2 was so embarrassing id rather they could just forfeit
    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so from the mind of a rational observer.
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
