Cam's Rookie Passing Record

I guess no one isn't going to make this thread so I thought I should.

Cam broke the rookie passing record of 3739 yds, a record held by P. Manning since 1998 last season. This was a record no one thought would be broken anytime. Well I guess Mr. Steroid Luck is going to destroy this record in one year. He's currently no.4 on most passing yards at 3596 yds. He's on pace to reach 4795 passing yards in four more games. Damn you Luck!

Who cares?

Luck is a helluva young QB. The fact that the Colts replace Peyton Manning with Andrew Luck just isn't fair. Many long running franchises have never had a true franchise QB and those bastards have had Johnny Unitas, Peyton Manning, and now Andrew Luck. How the fug does that happen?

You think they didn't tank last season for Luck?

Polian probably got paid double his salary to tank that season for them.

2 games left against the texans he won't continue his pace, although he will break the record.

He won't break Peyton's rookie td record, probably won't break cams total yardage and won't even approach total touchdowns.

He might break manning's most interceptions record though.

    • But again as I stated in the other thread, other than JJ Jansen, the only constant since Tepper bought the team has been Tepper himself. We have an ownership problem. Almost every single one of this team's issues can be traced back to David Tepper.
    • My deceased father was an All-ACC End and he raised me teaching me football--I never realized how he changed my understanding of the game--however, one thing he said that I will never forget:  The measure of a good NFL QB is this:  "If your team is down by 6 or fewer points in the fourth quarter but has the ball with under two minutes and with 2 timeouts, are you favored to win?  Can he put the team on his back and drive the field for a TD more than 50% of the time?"  If we are down 14-20 and have the ball on our own 20 with 2 timeouts--does Bryce win the game more than 50% of the time?  (It rarely happens).  If not, there is no reason to keep him around.  If he gets hot and we win a few games, he will want major $$$.  While I am not blaming him, I do not see that Alpha at QB.  Sorry.  He has improved, but do we have that Alpha dawg in the huddle when the game is on the line?  That 4th down pass in the end zone tells us what he is--unfortunately.
    • Lol Curry was an elite shooter the moment he stepped into the big leagues, dude wasn't out there shooting 15% from three.   Accuracy is 100% coachable, its the physical talent that cant be coached lol.   Josh Allen completed 52% of his passes for 10 tds and 12 ints as a rookie....   Improving from that to what he is now is NOT NATURAL talent it is work....
