Poor Joe Person (TD calls him out)

Recommended Posts

Probably fishing for some comment about Comeback Player of the Year. TD has been getting a lot of press about how wont be considered so people feel obligated to share his story (major outlets). He probably fished an angle TD didn't care for

i doubt Thomas Davis would get that mad about that. I think it was probably the lafell story.

I think it has to do with the LaFell story too.

If I'm not mistaken, Davis has a kid that he pays for from another girl too.

I remember reading in the Roar a month or so back about a story about how is wife and prayer really helped him through all the surgeries and knee issues. It was a really good piece and I think it mentioned him having a kid with someone else. Persons a dick if he tried to connect that to the Lafell story. I guarantee Person will act like nothing happened.

Prime example of why I switched from journalism to logistics. You end up digging too hard for juicy quotes and ultimately piss people off. It's a horrible profession full of unethical decisions. The public could probably care less if LaFell is paying his child support.

Heyyyy Thomassss. What isss up mannn? Don't youuuu think the NFL is a bunch of hacks fooorrr not considering you foorrrr comeback player of the yearrrrr?

TD: (Stares blankly at him for a moment). I may not win comeback player of the year, but I'll sure as well win comeback player of the decade.

I don't know....he could of fished for him to comment about how unfair the Peyton and AD love is wanting TD to make a statement about the award and those high profile guys. So many major outlets have touched on TD lately I could see a late to the party Person looking to piggyback it

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
