What I love the most about Cam compared to other players

Is that he genuinely cares about the fans, he gives game balls away to the fans, his gear to the fans after the game is over and pumps up the crowd. He isn't like Cutler dissing us even though we are sometimes outmatched by opponent's fans, it just doesn't seem like he's just there to collect a paycheck like some guys. Remember, Cam cares if don't nobody else care.

This may sound silly but what I liked honestly was how quickly he signed his rookie contract. I know it was under the new lockout CBA rules which makes the whole process quicker and all but if IIRC he was one of the first to sign it and compare it to how long some of the top picks took to sign this year as well (even luck). Just shows he wants to go out there and play. And I'm sure he will get the contract he eventually deserves from us as well.

And the media makes him out to be the worst person in sports. Did anybody see Tom Brady spike the ball and curse and the official on Sunday night just because SF called a TO. That was ridiculous and if Cam did it he would be called a baby and that crap would have no place in the NFL. Other QBs throw their coaches and Oline under the bus every week. Cam NEVER does that. But yet he is immature and selfish. It annoys me the perception people have of Cam. But whatever I guess it doesn't really matter what people think.

      yeah, Steve was basically like on any actual topic that approached his flaws/problems.....89 went with the long winded, try to sound like a wise man strategy of just basically just pleading the 5th (and sprinkling in the idea that others could of been wrong or wrong too).   also, in terms of the assaults and stuff like that....it feels like old 89, I feel has sort of forgotten his well-documented confessions and apologies about that aspect and era of his and was trying to re-write his story/image in hindsight.   And in all honesty, it seemed like a PR move on the twitter/cheating stuff also attempting to play himself as not the bad guy some think with the intentional vague suggestions. and the Pivot and all these athlete moves to basically take the reigns and power from traditional outlets exposes they have just as bad as flaws if not more often than the traditional media folks.  I mean I do like the free form long talk when dudes are telling stories but all this stuff is largely flawed and controlled PR often.

      Sadly, I agree and I’m a huge Melo fan. Might be time to ship him out. Don’t want to make the same mistakes the Pels did. They should’ve gotten rid of Zion two years ago.

      I forgot he was on the team and I'm pulling for him, but the statistics are not in his favor.  Some guys can recover from injuries and others cannot and let's hope Brooks is the former.  He was a beast in high school and college.
