John Fox now has made the playoffs 2 years in a row

Fox's weakness was on the offensive side of the ball, didn't matter who our OC was, our offense was mediocre most of the time.

"A punt is a good play", 3 point lead = sit on the ball/go conservative, 3rd and ten = call a draw play, "Game Manager" at QB is all we need.

Seems to me that John Elway and the Denver Broncos figured out (what a lot of Panther fans already suspected) that to be successful, you have to take the control of the offense away from John Fox.

It seems like the Broncos are somehow under the radar, even though they are maybe the best team in the NFL.

I think Foxy wins his ring this year.

With Fox's D and Peyton at QB, I like their chances too.

Took Denver Bronco's management to bring out the best in Foxy and control his dark side (offense).

Foxy winning the Super Bowl might drive home the point to JR that investing in a more experienced and knowledgeable executive staff can pay big dividends.

No more Mom and Pop organization JR!

I think they might want to get ready and mentally prepare then.

It wont hurt my feelings any if he wins. If our teams in 2003, 2005 and 2008 had Peyton Manning, he would have won a few rings here as well.

I don't know that it'll bother me that much.

There are definitely other results I'd hate worse.

It doesn't hurt to be in a weak division, ask the 49er teams that won all those championships.

Or the Patriots. That division has sucked for probably a decade or more.

Fox went to the playoffs last year with an 8-8 record. This year he had one of the greatest QBs of all time fall in to his lap. If he had been lucky to have a future HOFer come to us via free agency, then he would have probably won a few titles as well.

I'll withhold judgement on Fox and the job he's doing in Denver whenever a) Peyton is no longer the QB and b. the rest of their division isn't garbage.

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
