Rivera said linebacker Jon Beason had successful shoulder surgery this month after undergoing knee surgery in the fall. Beason has played in only five games since signing a five-year, $51.5 million contract extension before the 2011 season.

more of a reason to move on from him... he will have a high risk of re-injuring, if he was a WR or a QB it wont be that big of a deal but you need a healthy shoulder to tackle

yea tru but you need your shoulder tackle, especially if he plans to play the middle and command such a high cap figure

Agreed but being out for two season I feel he will rework his contract... I highly doubt Rivera will put Beason back in the middle and if he does that was his worse decsion besides making Shula OC (badum tshhh)

    • I wouldn't be mad if we were losing by 1 or 2 and the games were hard hitting tightly contested games. I'd be frustrated and upset about losing, but I wouldn't be mad.    Right now I'm pissed, Rod's decision making, his system of play, the consistent bad results in the conference finals. Then the team comes out at home and gets plastered 10-2 in the first two games... Yeah I'm mad at the results on the ice
    • Man it’s not even about losing to the Panthers again, it’s how they are losing that makes me think a coaching change is needed. Florida is physical, got into the player’s heads, and it’s the coach’s job to get his players ready to play. Brindamour has failed miserably in the Conference Championship 3 times now. The Hurricanes look like they don’t even belong in the playoffs let alone in the conference championship game. If these games were close like in 2023 we’d be frustrated but not embarrassed and that’s the difference in a coach keeping or losing their job.
    • I got down voted to hell and came back from it up some. Think Reddit Canes started to see the light today. lmfao
