Headlight restoration

I've seen these things advertised and thought "what the hell, I'll try it". I really didn't expect it to really work but I was somewhat pleased with the outcome!

Here's what I used

The kit came with sanding pads for really bad cases, I'm thinking about trying them and see how it works but I'm afraid I might mess them up. If I try those out I'll post the pics. if there's any diffrence.

wool pad technology eh?

Exclusive wool pad technology :)

I used toothpaste with an old toothbrush on my '95 Jeep. Worked great.

I tried toothpast one time before and i didn't have very good results but I just rubbed it on by hand. It smelled good though!

Any type of compound will work.

A lot cheaper too.

Make sure that you wax the lights now, don't leave them without any protection or it will happen again, very soon.

Yep.

What do you mean by wax, you talking about car wax?

Without a layer of something to protect the lens, you will need to do this again in a couple of months.

Per advice, I applied wax to the lenses afterwards. We'll see how it goes from here! :thumbsu:

BTW... I haven't driven at night yet, so I can't comment on the diffrence in lighting yet.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
