    • Somewhat Confident (Will make enough moves to keep us competitive at 6-8 wins but real progress won't be seen for 2-3 years)

Knowing what we know now, which is very little. With free agency 2 hours away and the draft next month and with almost no moves having been made, I am curious to get a feel for how much confidence the fan base has in this Panthers front office as it is currently constructed today.

I think the NFC is just too tough for us to make the playoffs this year, with our talent- Niners, Seahawks, Packers, Giants, Falcons... Leaves the Saints, Bears, Vikings, Lions, Cowboys, and us competing for that last spot...

Gettleman is going to need a couple of years to do things his way.

the giants man? really?. I just dont see them as the powerhouse they were 4 years ago. Half their defense has been released, no one to make up for it. The defense was their stronghold. Manningham went to SF, Cruz's future doesnt look to be with the g men, and hixon cant do it all himself. NFC east isnt the powerhouse it used to be.

Fine, replace the Giants with whoever you want from the East- my point is, either way, we are going to be competing for the last spot with those other teams.

The only adults that should be wearing headgear off of a football field are the handicapped. I know you almost qualify, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

They were used as chip bowls and then as a photo opp. They did not leave my parking lot. You're just mad cause they don't make helmets big enough to fit your dome.

    • Mr. 0-2 every year to start the season in his career. Last year was the first year he ever played a week 3 game.
    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
