Where is our $123 million?

Teams with Cap issues normally have a strong side. It could be OL, WRs, strong defense, dynamic offense, etc. but with the panthers we have none of that. Our RBs barely broke a 1000yards. WRs corp is, well, 5'8 33 years old. Defense? Well, what defense. Strong OL? Don't make me laugh! All we have is Cam rushing for 745, passing for 3900. Meaning, picking up most of our 3rd & long for us and he is getting paid peanut for now. Where is our $123 million?

The Saints, for example, are in cap nightmare but they have an elite offense with strong OL play to show for it. A good draft on the defensive side could put them back to prominence. Where is our $123 million?

Even if Hurney was screwing this team on purpose but in screwing up he must have fuged up and build one strong side on this team.

    • It depends on what version of bad we are getting. Can't have the locker room tearing apart over it.
    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
