The last thing I want from a first person shooter is that level of realism.

Its beautiful. Of that there is no doubt.

It is. And most likely on PC for the best looking graphics possible. Although, the PS4 is not going to be a slouch.

It doesn't look much different then BF3 on PC tbh. Here's a few screens from BF3 single player. Models might be slightly better in the BF4 preview, but the main difference will be the level of destruction, and the number of models on the screen at a time. Lighting is a bit better for sure. Granted this is probably pre Alpha code and it's a brand new engine so still stuff to figure out. Still, I don't expect the graphics to be a monumental difference from BF3. At least not on PC. It doesn't really matter though, because BF3 still looks pretty incredible. The developer who really needs to step up in the graphics department is Activision with CoD, Not to mention they need to make huge strides in gameplay......

Yeah CoD is terrible in comparison. That and no dedicated servers is just bad.

It's hard to get people to drop the CoD-crack though and move to BF.

cant decide on whether to get this for pc which is going to be far and away better then consoles, but my friends don't have pc's that can play games like this so they'll get it for consoles. hmmmmm. I'm prob going to say fug it and go pc.

Just play both...I do. CoD isn't bad, it's just different. But I will agree that the fact that they have no dedicated servers is absolutely terrible. I can't go a match without a host migration.

I guess to me, CoD is just stale and inferior in a lot of ways.

With the money they make, there is no excuse for not having dedicated servers other than greed. If BF3 can do it, they can. BF3 has way more going on. Besides, if they do what BF3 did, and let players rent servers, eventually they won't even be paying for most of the servers out there. I know on BF3, Xbox, most of the servers are player owned servers.
