I hope we keep Gettis. Hate he got hurt when he did. I was really excited to see him play with Cam. I don't understand why so many people are down on him. I think he proved himself worthy his rookie year, and that was playing with pitiful QBs. Hope he lights it up in training camp and preseason.

Seriously, take those glasses off already.

If Gettis could produce in his rookie season playing with Moore, Clausen and Brian St. Pierre, I don't see any reason why he wouldn't produce with Cam. Not really hyping him up, I'm basing my opinion on watching the guy play. He was probably the most exciting player on offense that season. I don't care much for Bryant though, until he shows me otherwise.

Well he can't produce with Cam or any other QB if he can't get on the field like the past 2 seasons..

Like I've said before, this is his all in year. He better turn it up, and I hope he does.

Well obviously. I just don't understand why people on here act like he can't play or something. It's like they completely forgot about the 2010 season. I think if he didn't get hurt and actually played these last 2 years, so many people would feel differently about him right now. Hell, LaFell had a decent rookie year too, putting up about the same stats as Gettis did, and you see how that worked out for LaFell, he's the #2 guy. Gettis could easily be right there in that discussion. I know, it's a what if situation but that's how I feel.

Unfortunately though, injuries are a part of the game and the injury bug hit Gettis at the worst possible time. I think he could have played in some games last year but they held him out as a precaution. I don't think he was ever in any doghouse. So by the time TC gets here, he will have had 2 full years for his ACL to fully recover. If it stays strong, I do believe he will make the roster.

Yeah that we need better return specialists. Both Hixon and Ginn are that. They aren't known for their wide receiver prowess...

Hixon wasn't signed to play special teams.

Also, we spent a large majority of our pre-draft workouts on wide receivers, most in the 1st to 3rd round range. That's a lot of return specialists.

      If we lose tomorrow we’d have to sweep the Bucs in order to get into the playoffs. With a loss tomorrow the Bucs would then hold the tie breaker if we finished tied If we can’t split with NO then we sure as hell not sweeping Tampa It’s win or go home tomorrow in my eyes  Biggest game since 2017 playoff game imo
