List of who's left (wishing we still had a third)

My wish would be Jamar Taylor. Incredibly quick and fast. Good tackler and with our front seven, will get a pick or 6 this season.

My 4th round projection of Winters OG, will not be around in the 4th, I fear. By the way, if someone wanted Geno early today, him pouting and leaving town might have them rethinking their options.

My biggest wish for round 2 is Hunter, but I'd be happy with Taylor too.

Agree about Geno, I thought the same thing when I heard that he wouldn't be back. If he took it like a man and showed up to Day 2 with a smile on his face he'd likely be picked in the first few picks of the 2nd, the next QB taken. Now I wouldn't be surprised if he slipped to 4th QB taken. This sort of reaction is the kind of leadership intangibles that I think matter for a QB, much more so than some of the things Cam and some other QBs get hated on for.

My absolute Dream scenario if we had a third would be....

Cyprien

Da'Rick Rogers

Blidi Wreh-Wilson (a bit of a slide for him, but with the way Star fell to us I'm a believer in anything now)

Xavier Nixon

Celeb Sturgis

That would be an absolute homerun Draft that addresses every current major need with playmakers, and gives us a potential LT in the future....

if Sanders Commings lasts till the 5th ..he would be an intriguing safety conversion.....

but it has been not a great history with those in Carolina...Same with Amerson...but I am not sure how he tackles...id imagine he would be Michael Huff-ish at best which is a definite upgrade in Pantherland.

Yeah Geno just hurt his chances of going early in the 2nd round. Some will look at that and say he has a quitter mentality which might not be far from the truth. But I wouldnt mind taking him at 44 if he is there. Let him mentor under Cam and have a solid #2 backup. After he matures either play him or trade him for draft picks.

Meh, I don't believe one bit him not showing up on Day 2 will affect what teams think of him. The chip on his shoulder is even large now. Whether that will drive him to be really good will remained to be seen but we've seen it before.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
