Over/Under sack totals for 2013 with Star and KK added

I actually expect around the same, maybe a little bit more. I think the presence of Star and the spelling of players to remain fresh is gonna apply more pressure. And more pressure means more inconsistencies from the QB. We will be a better team regardless of more sacks.

You also have to consider blitzes. With Star taking on a double team and CJ getting the attention of a back or TE, that should leave some lanes to the QB open for LBs and DBs.

I also think you need to consider that we will be fresher, able to apply better pressure late in games.

They should get 50+, which is about 3 per game.

I think the biggest change you will see will be in the interception department. QBs cannot step up and they make mistakes.

This takes a ton of pressure off of Cam. He can develop as the feature player with out having to be the only attraction. The dline unit in front of the play of Kuechly could end up being the strength of the team more so than the play of Cam. He may even see less scrutiny for his mistakes because he will get extra opportunities to make the game winning plays. Sacks are momentum building plays.

Went from Big KK to KK, just a shortening of a nickname. Guess double size gave him KK, big guy, Big KK. He covers it in his interview.

I can hear the crowds now with LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE, BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE, TDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD,

MONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY, KRAKEN (doesn't really lend itself to a long chant), STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR and KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

I am not drunk posting again, this is my sobe3r opinion...as far as you know.

50+ sacks peoples. Get on board the Panther D.

    • DeAngelo Williams: 1515 yards (2008) Steven Davis: 1444 yards (2003) Christian McCaffrey: 1387 yards (2019) Chuba Hubbard: 1195 yards (2024) Jonathan Stewart: 1133 yards (2009)   DeAngelo Williams 1515 yards in 2008 are most in Panthers history for a season this was when Double Trouble was at it's height. That year he averaged 94 yards a game. Steven Davis missed 2 games 2003 so he comes in at the most yards per game in a season at 103 yards. Mccaffrey averaged 86 yards a game in his 2019 campaign he also recorded 1005 yards receiving making his season statistically the best in Panthers history for a RB, had the Panthers had a better record he could have been a favorite for MVP. Dowdle currently is averaging 81 yards a game despite only starting 3 games thus far. In the games he has started 206, 183, 130 he's averaging 173 yards. In Green Bay he rushed for 130 despite having a 21 yard run wiped out due to illegal procedure penalty that could of saw a 150 yard day.    Top 5 yards per carry. Dowdle 5:6 (2025) Williams: 5.5 (2008) Stewart: 5.1 (2009) Mccaffrey: 4.8 (2019) Hubbard: 4.7 (2024) If Dowdle continues even close to the pace he's on he's poised to break DeAngelo Williams single season Panther rushing record.
    • The BY9 situation is classic sunk cost fallacy. We traded premium assets to get him. Every few games he flashes the traits that made him appealing (quick reads, touch, composure) but the macro picture doesnt lie. Hes producing at a bottom-tier level across efficiency metrics in yards per attempt, EPA/play, completion percentage over expected, and explosive plays. Instead of objectively reassessing, the organization continues to justify the investment - new coaches, new systems, new excuses - trying to salvage what was invested. Giving him a 5th year is a self inflicted would.  We need to take our lumps and move on
