Falcons New Stadium Proposal

Of the two the more traditional one looks the better of the two. The other out there design just doesn't do it or me, though I still don't see what's wrong with the dome.

imagine the jagged looking design after the novelty of playing in a stadium inspired by andross from the super nes version of star fox wears off

usually stuff that was intended to look "futuristic" at the time it was conceived looks really lame and contrived within a few years.  think of all the egg-shaped desktop computers dell, gateway, and hp manufactured 10-15 years ago because that's what was trendy then.  they're instantly dated to 2001.

The Bears stadium is a prime example. Google that lame looking piece of poo.

No need for so many haters, if you're a true fan of the game you should appreciate what they're doing with hopes that our org will step up and out do them in a few years.

i'd prefer to outdo the falcons by winning a super bowl before them rather than building a stupid looking trillion dollar stadium that looks like the result of a 7 year old gluing scraps of construction paper together

if you think I'm going to disagree you're wrong but that isn't the topic of this thread. I like the way their stadium will possibly look and that will bring major events to their city.

Honestly, with our current stadium do you see the Olympics or the Super bowl being hosted here? I don't but enough of my rant.

    • Yeah, I was about to say I hope he's doing okay health-wise because he's not looking good in that pic.
    • Honestly, I dont  think he should be on the hot seat yet. A bad start to next year, then yes. Despite our mistakes on play calling this past season, we played better than anticipated overall. Bryce showed improvement and maturity (although still not nowhere close to our expectations). Better record and 2-15 to 5-12 to 8-9. Despite what we feel the stats dont lie we are improving by 3 wins a year. Could 11-6 be our expectation. That's a high bar but at the rate we are going, thats what its looking like. We all want to see a 5-12 to a 13-4 record but we are methodically moving up. Success doesnt happen overnight (well in most cases).  IMO we are struggling mostly on the defensive end. LB and edge are our biggest weakness. I see Bryce making improvements (even though I was a Bryce hater) next year. Biggest concern is LT on offense. How to fix this? We need a big name edge or to trade up and get a big name edge or LB and pick up one in FA and draft one. Also if in the 3rd we can pick up a TE. Dont know if Sanders is the answer or Tremble (even though I love Trembles blocking and power after the catch). If these two can get their footwork together they would be great. Maybe all they need is a better TE coach. And if Brooks can stay healthy and be the back we thought he could be, man that would be great
    • Dumbly blaming the best player on the team for everything.
