Would be we better off without DeAngelo?

Bc they were the worst D in the history of the sport.....and he wasn't even an average RB in the 14 collective other games.

There simply isn't a debate how significantly it skews what he was....that is why

You dont determine how good someone is against that Saints D....you determine it the rest of the year

Sheesh.  Than Jonathan Stewart must be REALLY bad since he could only muster 51 yards against them.

We better keep Deangelo because if I understand your theory correctly Stewart suuuuucks!

Guys.  Guys.  If Adrian Peterson didn't have 792 yards in those 4 games against those below average defenses of GBx2, Detroit, and St Louis he would have not actually been that awesome and would have no where near 2,000 yards.  Therefore he was just average.

DWILL is better. Johnathan Stewart - I like him but too many injuries. Tolbert can do just as much as JStew can do. Together DWill and JStew are really good. They compliment each other well. Tolbert needs to stick to FB or get cut we really didnt need him, IMO. We have enough talent in the backfield as it is. At the end of next season we need to reconstruct DWill's contract and cut tolbert and then start working on Cam and Hardys contracts. Dwill is a great back and he still is a elite back. He has proving that when he gets atleast 15 to 20 touches.

False. The old version of him was....not the present day version. Stewart can do more....which is why when both are healthy Williams takes a backseat.

Restructure to keep what will be a 31 yr old RB? Why? Why would you want us to continue down the path that got Hurney fired?

DeAngelo's elite days are over. A good day doesn't make you elite in the NFL

4.6 YPC for Stewart.  D-Will in 2 games 8.0 YPC.

4.6 and 50 yards against the historically bad defense isn't much to brag about.  It was also far and away Stewart's best game.

Except maybe Washington

Williams was 4.9 in that same game....near identical.

Stewart just didnt get a shot at the end of the season slop feat the Saints were.

You think 14 games against non Saints D or 2 against the Saints paints the more accurate picture of Williams? All good things come to and end....hanging on too long is what causes problems.

Okay, how about this....15 games in the book (that includes the first Saints game).....what was your impression of Williams? Do you remember?

Last game of the season shouldn't impact things for an old player signifantly. He was barely over 3 yards a carry and Mr. Explosive managed a whopping 1 20+ yard carry

Whose worst game. If we are talking about Stewart and are eliminating New Orleans games Stewart had 7 bad games out of 8.

If you elimanate all Saints games Stewart was NOT impressive. Unfortunately, Williams was statistically worse though.

Time to move on emotionally from Double Trouble. It isn't what we are about...
