Why is it that one certain person constantly goes on about "thugs"

like i said, the word thug is only an issue when its used on a minority. No matter what charge or criminal activity they are associated with. Nobody said anything when i called Chris Anderson and Matt Jones out. people look to read more into it so they can start whining contests on the internet. Or increase their pie/rep by calling MrTD a name.

Not to derail your rant, but the mafia is not dead. There reason guys like John Gotti are though.

Got died in prison of cancer after what at the time was the highest ranking mafia member (Gravano) to ever turn states witness.

Organized crime isn't dead- but the American mafia is no where near as powerful as it once was.

Back on topic: police now think Hernandez destroyed evidence such as his cell and surveillance system. There is a legit chance he may never play in the NFL again. The storm clouds over AH are getting more ominous

I don't see why he hasn't already been arrested for obstruction of justice.

I'm guessing the police are going to get their ducks in a row before they lay out everything and throw the book at him.

Excellent point.

He is a high profile individual with cash. Lots of it. He can afford and will have no problem acquiring top legal council. They don't want to risk the case being thrown out because of a technicality.

If not for Gotti's arrogance and high profile persona he possibly may never have ended up there. The authorities really didn't have poo on him until Gravano decided to turn on him and enter the witness protection program.

All I was arguing is, the smart ones don't behave like a John Gotti. You never see or hear about them.

Anyway, yes back on topic..

New report that the reason Hernandez fell in the 2010 draft was not just because of failed drug tests, but because of gang affiliations.

Some of Hernandez’s associates in his hometown of Bristol, Conn., were involved in gang activity, according to Sports Illustrated. Multiple NFL personnel sources and a law enforcement official told SI about the off-field concerns.

ABC News is reporting that police arrived at Hernandez's home today armed with a warrant based on information that "he destroyed his home security system," and the cell phone he handed over to investigators was smashed into pieces. Additionally, a professional cleaning service was hired to clean Hernandez's home on Monday.

Pretty much an admission of guilt. Hope the cleaners were haz mat....cuz regular cleaning wont get rid of all DNA.
