Those two are kind of an "Odd Couple" in personality.  But if it translates to results on the field... :)

It wouldn't bother me in the least if Star was the speak softly type. As long as he carries a huge stick.

Really difficult not to believe these two guys are going to be special. They just seem to feed off each other already. I really expect big things from the pair. And that just gets my giddy going full bore.

Well, there's plenty of speculation that QB3 spot might not be occupied this coming season.

 

Would leave room for other options, and Cam has been pretty durable (though late last season he was slow to get up often enough to make me nervous).

I think they like Colby Cameron and will put him on the PS--

 

Correct me if I am wrong--a #3 qb takes up a roster spot but can be inserted into the game in a crisis even if he is not on the active roster...Is that right?

 

Knowing that rule helps.  Personally, I think Clausen needs a chance to land somewhere else.

Kugbila may be what we're looking for at right guard, in one on one drills I didn't see anyone move him. Can't really say much after a day but it was like the defensive linemen were running into a wall

Number three QB is always inactive.  Ultimately you can still only activate 45, but freeing up that spot gives you a little extra depth somewhere else on the overall roster.

Having him succeed there would be very nice indeed.

 

I think the biggest concern people have with him so far is his ability to stay healthy.

yea I wouldn't be too concerned about the rookies. Just wait til pre-season games to see how they do. Star is a strong mofo. Don't worry about lack of tweets between him and kk.

I wouldn't use preseason to judge anyone- remember how bad Cam looked? Threw for more yards in the opener than all of preseason.
