Woooooooooooooot! I'm off work now. On the way to bestway to pickup a six of sculpin ipa's . Gotta let the dog take a poo in my neighbor's yard, throw some chicken, oinions, and jalapenos in the pan, wrap that poo up in a burrito and its fugin game time mother fugers!!!!!!

I'm pumped.  I even tuned in to local programming on the commute home to get the local flavor!

 

Too bad local radio broadcasting from Dog House had absolutely nothing to offer after a 6 month hiatus than the obligatory ticket price complaints and a few Clausen slams.

 

The Drive and David Glenn are equally responsible or my SIrius subscription being re-upped each year without a second thought.

      Thielen was a "dawg" like Dan Morgan likes to say. And they replaced him with puppies.  The analytics are probably saying this is more targets for younger receivers they are hoping to develop, specifically the first round pick from 2025. The eye test is going to show a very inexperienced group of WRs that are going to have some serious growing pains, for a 3rd year QB who has not yet proven to be the guy going forward.  It's crazy how in the literal first game of his NFL career, Cam Newton showed everyone he was a star QB and there was never any doubt about that. It almost didn't even matter who was around him, although he definitely had a serious lack of talent at WR for most of his career. Bryce is going into his third season and there is still a ton of doubt, and who is around him is seen as crucial for him to have success. I don't like it.

      Everyone says AT was old and slow but the one thing he could do consistently was get separation. That takes skill and it's been a huge issue in our WR for years. And while Moore may be a great locker room guy and our WR coach may be a 12 year vet, he's not playing in the game. Vets like AT do what they do because they can see things others don't and exploit it. The DB interview I mentioned before was with Stephon Gilmore after his DPOY season. He was pulling the younger DBs aside showing them things you wouldn't even think you'd be able to tell from the way the receiver was standing.  Seeing what a DB or LB is biting on in game that can give you that half step advantage is huge and we don't have that experience in our WR group right now and I think it could end up hurting us. None of our receivers have lined up against NFL corners successfully on a regular basis. Having someone that can walk over and give you a tip to get a half yard separation can be a difference maker.

      We only fielded about 4 NFL calibre players on that unit last year.
