But your whole OP was.. EJ manuel looks to be in total control of the offense.  Look at how he checks down blah blah,  Look how he keeps the chain moving.. yada yada  Look how this guy looks in preseason.. much better than Cam has in games in his 2 years prior flim flam flarn. If we don't win the game it's gonna be pressure on Cam to do what EJ manuel does.... 

 

You claim to be a Cam supporter but how disrespectful to say Cam should change the way he plays to match up to a rookie in preseason games?   Then you say.. I agree EJ can't hold Cam's jockstrap.. but the bills might have a better personnel and coaching.  I mean really???? Really???

Although I don't think cam is really under any pressure I do think he is the worst screen passing qb I've ever seen. Same with his short throws. I mean my god my heart stops when he goes to throw the screen pass.

i dont think he has attempted a pass beyond 10 yards so far this pre season. most of his passes are slants, quick outs and checks to the flat.

Personally I wasn't speaking of his play in pre season. I just meant in general that his screen passes are horrid sometimes an really scare me

Not sure why so many seem offended. I don't think any one is suggesting EJ is a better QB than Cam right now. Cam has more potential than any QB I've ever seen.

 

But let's be honest. He does tend to lock onto his favorites. He does have trouble with short/intermediate passes when he doesn't set his feet. He rarely looks to his check downs and will often take a sack or force a throw into coverage rather than throw to an option 5 yards in front of him.

 

In the limited time we've seen him, EJ showed an ability to keep the chains moving with short passes that allowed his guys to make plays (YAC). Agree or not, but Cam puts too much on his own shoulders. Towards the end of last season, he seemed to have more trust in his team mates to make plays for him, as long as he got them the ball. THIS PRESEASON, which isn't the regular season, Cam hasn't shown that. I think it's fair that some of us may be a little worried that he's reverted to the Cam that tries to do it all himself.

his screen game could improve, but lets not act as though he hasnt hit several for big gains or TDs. some have been on point.
