Interesting tidbit on Beason's restructure...FA at end of the Season?

With Luke, Blackburn, Klein, TD (if healthy)...I honestly don't know if we can justify resigning him if he has a big year.

 

Would suck, but Hardy, a WR2 (Lafell?), OL/CB/S help may all take precedent over resigning a guy with a new history of injuries. despite how he may play.

Gettlemagic baby. I like this move. That micro fracture injury is a liability for the rest of his career, and we'll be paying big money to roll the dice. Smart move.

Gettleman's cleaning up of troublesome contracts has been impressive.

I love me some Beason, but the situation has changed drastically from when he first signed his deal. 

In a perfect world he could return at a reduced rate, but I understand doing what's best for you as a player.

i wouldn't blame him for it and i wouldn't have a problem with it either. he's a class act and we'd still be good there without him.

 

i mean we'd be better with him but still fine without.
