Trading Hardy is so logical its almost common sense.

Hardy is essential to this teams success this year, you only do this type of crap if you have been winning and can afford it off of already being successful and longer evaluation of your team. What the hell have we done to already start trading away our best players? This is stupid.

You realize without hardy the Interior rush instantly becomes a problem again

The interior rush you say? Um, KK, Dwan, Star, (insert other DT name here) are enough for an interior rush.

I would say The rush on the other side of CJ would become a problem. Although Alexander is not Hardy I believe he could hold his own. If anythig Gettleman knows Pass Rushers when he sees them, I would not be surprised if he drafts one in the early rounds to replace Hardy.

Hardy has become somewhate expendable with the two new DTs in the roster, CJ is locked and the inside of the line is looking good. Add another guy on Hardys spot and we should be fine.

I would rather Keep Hardy mainly because he is the spark of the line. He is crazy and tenacious. Which is what I love about the kid. But he he asks for CJ type money, I do not want him here. This organization does not need another financial burden that is not the QB position.

First rule in the business of winning football: You DO NOT get rid of your playmakers. Those players who make plays that turn the tide of a game in your favor.

Period.

End of story.

To further prove your point there was a GM over on the west coast who loved nothing more than dumping all of his up and coming players such as: Michael Turner, Mike Tolbert, DRC, Vincent Jackson etc...

Where is he now you might ask? Unemployed.

I'm talking about game planning. The Oline have special pass block assignments when there is players to key on especially the Ends.. When there's no longer that threat they can focus on our interior rush. This gives the QB more time in the pocket.

This is so incredibly illogical. You want to take a player that you drafted in the sixth round and spent years developing into a beast of a player only to trade him right when he's nearing the peak of his productivity? For what? A first round pick? So you can draft a stud player like....GREG FUGGING HARDY?!?! Kraken is what every team dreams of - a late round player with athletic gifts that worked hard, learned from his coaches and fellow players, and developed into a gem.
