What a difference a single game makes

I never followed football till the Panthers formed. I am truly a fan no matter how they play. I even watched every game when Clausen was the qb, it gets no worse than that season but I still tried to enjoy what I could, always looking forward to the next season. I want to win, I was at the seattle game and let disgusted like most others but I will not give up hope after one game. A bit more offense and a bit less stupid stuff and we would have won that game, a game that the talking heads gave us no chance. I think the next teams we play are quite a bit nervous to face our defense and they already know that our offence can explode. I don't expect a super bowl win but I am hoping for playoffs. No matter what I support my team. You cry babies maybe have never led anything, but its tough to lead. All you Monday morning qb's and coaches need to give it a rest. I hope I don't have to sit next to your negative selves at the next game.

I do wish I could have sat beside them. Being in the military it's second nature that when someone says dumb poo to fill them in on just how retarded they are.

Eli Manning will have 8 touchdowns on our lame ass secondary if they play like they did against Seattle. If LBs can match the performance against Baltimore in the preseason, I give us a great chance of winning that game.

If we our defense as a whole plays like we did vs Seattle Manning will get sacked 10 times he won't be able to evade the rush and get those throws off....

Some people here look at 320 yards and go oh poo people with perspective look at the fact that we completely stuffed the hawks ground game and forced them to be one dimensional....

Exactly why the defense needs to get off the field at the end of games

You do realized they were on the field two strait drives to end the first half and then again two strait drives in the second? They got gassed simple and plain... for our defense to be effective our offense needs to maintain more drives our big boys got tired.

You do realize we spent our first two draft picks on defense right? You do realize that not one offensive player that has been drafted since Cam was on the field sunday right? For our offense to be affective you have to draft for it and build for it. We have been defense defense defense, so I don't want to hear they got "tired".

And when the front 7 got tired, Wilson torched our secondary. That one dimension is our Achilles heel.

I'm not sure what our offense relating to its feelings has to do with scoring points but if you are just a dumbass and don't know that what you are trying to say is effective then I don't see how drafting anther offensive player helps Greg Olsen hold onto two passes or keeps Williams from fumbling let me know....  That goes for JT boneheaded block in the back and touching the ball as well.

I also like how you seem to assume my previous post was meant as a shot at Cam *Hint it wasn't want proof look at my posts in that asinine thread Chuck made Sunday... Cam played a much better game than his numbers suggest he was accurate had he not had three dropped passes (which were all fairly easy catches) The most points the Hawks surrendered solely to an opposing offense all last season was 23 to the Patriots no one is going to light them up... to score on them you must execute and take what you can... Cam and Smith did there parts Olsen dropped two large gains that he almost always makes...

P.S next year when we draft offensive linemen with our first two picks you will be bitching because we didn't overdraft a WR.

Hardy and Johnson were gassed the most in-particular I think FA's value can't be understated we were forced not two spell them and when it mattered they both ran out of gas....

Considering they only have up one TD I hardly call it getting torched around 15 of Wilsons competions came either on screens or on short high % passes they had several drives were they gained 30-40 yards on one decent play or anther only to have them ended by defensive pressure or great LB play.

    • More so than the stats it was against that killer defense in their own stadium, the same defense that made Mahomes look like a total JAG in the SB. The way Bryce handled adversity all game was simply phenomenal , the off script play in the end zone, scrambling out of a sack/safety to find XL deep was one of the best plays we have seen out of a Panthers QB on what should have been a game winning drive
    • He’s about to be 0-12 in the conference finals and we’ve been outscored 16-4 in this series after only losing 2 games the previous two rounds and looking really in control of the series. There’s major red flags here as to why he seems so overmatched once he gets to a certain level. There comes a point where “just getting there” isn’t good enough. We are at that point.
    • Listening to the post-game, and holy poo! Has Rod ever said, "this one's on me." When asked about composure, he threw Staal and Martinook under the bus. "Those 2 can't be your best players." Disregarding that he didnt answer the question, does he realize how that sounds to professional athletes? When asked how you prepare for game 4, "I'm not even thinking about that." Clearly, Rod.
