Ron Rivera: Norv Turner Clone?

Cmon man Norv coached multiple winning teams and almost made a Super Bowl. Once again, MUCH better coach. Ron Rivera is in a class all of his own.  There is no comp

Norv was dealt a dream hand and did nothing with it.  Again, he had the #1 Defense and the #1 offense in the NFL at the same time.  How do you not go to the super bowl?  How do you not win it?

Norv sucked.

Norv turned it around the last couple years, starting off well then crashing towards the end.  at least thats what my horrible memory is telling me.

I remember he was expected to be fired and was not for 2 years.  Everyone thiought he had pictures of someone.

Looks to me like we need to hire Norv Turner. He's better than Rivera, at least at getting to the playoffs.

He inherited a team that was stacked.  Of course they went to the playoffs-they were in the AFC West when everyone else sucked.  Not winning a super bowl bid was a crime against the citizens of SD.

I don't think that you understand how hard it is to get to the Super Bowl, much less win it.

How talented was Denver last year?  And SF the year before?

The one year they lost in the AFC Championship game, Rivers had a torn ACL, and LT couldn't play.

Not really taking up for Norv here, as I don't think that he is a very good coach, but he is not nearly as bad as our very own Ron.
