Bye is scary bc it gives RR extra time to think.....

I worry for example, he may start Beason after he essentially has an extra week. Chase over Beason IMO had a big yet unnoticed role today.

I worry he may not coach in terms of the same aggressiveness like the goal line play

Bye is what it is....but it comes at a crappy time. Finally got something to build off of and we have to put it on the shelf for a week

Bye in week 4 sucks anyway. While our secondary is bruised now, we may need that week off later. However, it is nice to enjoy our largest ever margin of victory for two weeks as a fan. Hope is back for at least awhile.

i get it i really do. and i agree with the chase over beason. did you see him on the field at all?

 

the aggresiveness fits this team best. If he doesn't get this after this week then he needs to be gone asap. i made a thread the 4th and 1 changed this game imo because it showed trust in Cam and trust in this team.

Nothing negative in my post....those are all realistic questions.

And the bye simply does come at a bad time. Saying water is wet isn't negative

it is negative when we just kicked the giants ass handidly. enjoy the win. but like i said in the post i do get what you are saying. rivera needs to put the pedal to the medal. he showed trust in the players with that 4th and 1 call and i believe it sparked something.

      This while he didn't single handily LOSE the game on any one play.....    He was a first overall pick, one we paid a fortune for..... the bar for him is a 10 foot dunk not a 5"8 children's rim.   32 for 49 for 287 with 1 td and 1 int in two games vs the worst team in the conference, two critically important games that we would be 9-5 and competing for the #2 if he had led us to victory....   Ive given him props for the TD to tet.... it was the best pass ive ever seen him make.....   But putting up these kind of numbers isn't up to par. Defenses stack the box and dare him to throw....  and he still puts up medicore at best numbers.    To win with Bryce young the entire rest of the team has to be absolutely perfect to make up for his deficiencies.... so while he didn't "lose" this game for us..... HE DEFFINATLY DIDNT GO WIN IT FOR US. (Which is the REALISTIC EXPECTATION)

      His O is just built on taking repeated shots and that’s not BY’s game.  It was always a round peg and square hole…. But I also agree with your post.  I hate OC HCs.  Especially green ones.   I never liked anything about the setup

      I get that. He's also trying to do HC and OC this year which I think is just too much for him. I think it's hard to call plays from the sidelines. That view from up top helps them see what a defense is doing better. A few HCs can do it because they have the QBs and experience to pull it off. DC has neither. I think DC may have spread himself too thin and Bryce isn't the QB to be able to pull of his end of it either. How much they compliment each other in creating this offensive bleh, yet to be determined. Doesn't really matter because it's still awful.
