I'm taking down names. (A Cam Newton Thread)

I don't think that it is bad to want your QB to improve and talk about his weaknesses. I think that blind Cam hate as seen in year one is very rare these days.

The best way to improve is to let the dam kid play and get out of his ass. End of story.

Three damn seasons, same BS. Funny thing is those in the media who were relentless with Cam have left him along. I didn't hear one criticism of Cam's game on tv today. the most I heard was one of the guy saying that Cam should have thrown the ball into the endzone with a bit mor arch.He must have heard because on the next throw it was perfect.

What is so bad is, there is only a handful of Cam detractors on this site who makes it their business week in and out to grab attention by finding any little ish wrong with Cam and making a big deal out of it while ignoring or playing down the mistkes made by the rest of the team.

Why don't you focus that attention on the team as a whole. I'm sure that level of criticism could have been well needed when your team was sucking for the past five years.

Banned for analyzing a pass and not saying anything rude to another user, yeah a mod should deal with me. How's life in the Third Reich?

You're ANALyzing and trolling. And you're doing that after a blow out win.

I was happy to see the offense moving the ball, but I still have concerns about Cam.  I was very happy to see us using him less conservatively, but part of me wondered if it will continue to work.

Today, the defense won the game.

Cam needs positive energy.  I think he is still trying to define himself--and others are too--and I think (like Teeray said) he will continue to improve.

It was only one game, but it was a step in the right direction.  Great to see.

Well, actually you need to work on specific things to improve, not just "play". I really think that the trashcans helped this week. I watch and give observation of the team as a whole, and weeks 1-2 Cam was disappointing to me on third downs, obvious throwing situations where he had to make a throw. I don't have full trust in Cam on those downs, I hope that he improves two weeks from now and eases my anxiety on third and longs.

Outside? I think that is a stretch, Ross didn't see it and that was great. I thought it could've been farther to the outside and away from the defender, You and most others disagree, I am def. okay with that....I like when people have differing opinions, it is what keeps everything from becoming the same.

You throw it right at the defender back and behind the receiver. If he threw it any closer to the sideline than Lafell has to adjust and Ross gets his head around earlier and the the right way and has a chance to make a play on the ball.

Lafell played it brilliantly and is was a perfect throw.

Problem is and always been is some people on this board think the QB can do no wrong.  Do I expect a QB to be perfect no, Do I expect him to learn from his mistakes yes.  Will he make the same mistakes again most likely.  Does that make me a Cam hater no.  But if you act like Cam doesn't make mistakes I will call you out on it.  Cam can be so much better than he is and he should be trying to strive for that every game. Stop making the same mistakes over and over.

This is a troll thread started by Growl, don't you get it? This thread is a giant troll, you stating nothing in regards to Cam and just stating the mods should do something about me, keeping my cool, not being an ass and talking about Cam is major trolling. Just because I don't share the same opinion as you somehow makes me a troll?

cam actually said it was a horrible throw in his presser. but from the route i think it was pretty decent. cam is just really hard on himself.

I wish that I could PIE this a million times, so true. Only a few people really want Cam to fail and are "haters" don't think they are out today.

And I said this in another thread. For every throw he misses or messes up, he will make another play that 90% of the QBs in this league can't make.

As he improves his passing he will be in damn near ridiculous mode.

But even if he never gets any better (he will) he is still a guy you can win with and build around.
