Is there any state more diverse than NC?

as far as geography or otherwise? California comes to mind but I don't know many others.

You have the mountains, appalachia, the piedmont, the triad, the triangle, the sandhills, the coast, the outer banks...

Then you have cities like Charlotte, Raleigh, Asheville, Greensboro, Durham, Wilmington and others, all pretty different. If you live in Star you could be about three hours or so from any of it.

Know of any state or region that is that diverse?

Don't forget that we also have one of only a dozen or so temperate rain forests in the world and one of only 2 (or maybe 3) in the U.S. It is the only one east of the Rockies.

California is probably the only state with more diversity in geography than NC. California is miles ahead of NC though, but that is not surprising considering the sheer size of the state. Texas is probably a close third to NC, but again it is much, much larger than NC.

No snow capped mountains, but we have mountains high enough to have their own micro-climates, we have unique biological zones on the east coast/outer banks, and we are the only place on the east coast other than South Florida that offers clear diver friendly waters. The Crystal Coast offers 75-100 foot visibility.

NC is a great state for outdoor enthusiasts.

Sorry for the movie related spin but this is what got me thinking about this.. I think the three most important aspects of movie productions that everyone pretty much agrees with is location, location, and location. It's the reason why California is such a fugin mammoth in the industry.

We have all of these diverse regions and cities yet we are still lagging behind other states by a considerable margin. It's a huge job creator but we don't have a constant stream of productions like we should. So much untapped potential here :(

you have to be diverse in the job market too. NC is great for financial services, tech, tourism, trending down manufacturing and farming.

ebb and flow.

I don't know for sure but I don't think that's the reason major studios haven't settled here. We have Screengems but we don't have the constant output of productions outside of your occasional iron man threequel.

Explain your reasoning

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
