I'm bald.

I've always been told mothers side....the "if your moms dad is bald you will go bald" thing has been true from what I've seen.

Both of my grandfathers had thick hair till the day they died so I think I'm good....hopefully

This isn't true.  Balding is a dominant trait for males so you can get it from either of your parents.  If your dad is bald, there's a pretty good chance you're going bald too.

I'm 22 and Ive lost the majority of my hair on top. I just sheer it off all the way to the scalp. I haven't paid for a haircut in a long time.

Take pride in it. Look at the majority of action stars and actors. Mostly bald and still bad ass. As others say don't let it get u down. Hell I haven't

Fortunately I'm not losing my hair, but the gray hairs have been coming in with a vengeance lately.

 

I used to find a few every now and then, but now I have dozens on both sides of my head and they're starting to appear on the back and top now too :(

 

At this pace I'll be 50% gray by the time I'm 30.
