Titans listening to offers for Kenny Britt

You guys be interested for a low round draft pick?  He was on the verge of being a top tier reciever before he blew out his ACL and MCL a couple of years ago(12 games, 775 yrds and 9 TDs in 2010).  From the sounds of it, it seems like the Titans have been throwing him under the bus and blaming him for the teams problems.  Very much boom or bust.  I wouldn't want to give up much for him bc he is a huge question mark, but it would be worth the risk IMO for a 5th+ round pick.

C'mon guys. Let's not get carried away. Sure we might want to upgrade our WR corp. But let's not give away draft picks for guys who have injury concerns, questionable brains, and character concerns.

Ginn Jr. is earning respect. Lafell is still a reliable option. Olsen is still Olsen. Smitty is still a viable #1. We have plenty of options, let's not add a loopy doopy to a group that is still working on its identity.

OR...a 5th for a possible #1WR would be a steal. Unfortunately, Britt would need to turn himself around completely to ever become a #1. That story hardly ever works in the NFL.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
