3 London games in 2014

Is anyone besides me completely confused by the fact that the Jags continue to be picked to represent the nfl in London.

They cant even sell out games in their hometown.

Shad Khan volunteered the Jags after the Rams pulled out of their multi year agreement.

We play Detroit next year....think we could luck out and pull them or the Falcons the week after they go to London?

Teams that go to London have their bye the week after they play there.

Peter King of TheMMQB.com reported during Football Night in America that the league could play a full slate of eight games in England, with different teams playing in each game.  Every team would play in London at least once every three years.

DO NOT WANT

I really don't understand why the league doesn't play a game in Mexico City.

Huge population, spreads the popularity of the sport to latin america, much easier trip.

I'm pretty sure they have played there.

From my time in Mexico, they love the NFL. Every newspaper has several pages of coverage dedicated to it.

As far as a Panthers London game. I've promised myself and friends that live there that we are going when it happens. I can't wait.

I live in Europe, I don´t like the London games. It is just not the same as in the US. It is kind of artificial, not authentic. Sorry fellow european folks, just my opinion. NFL, please stay in North America.

Part of the fun is seeing the sweet football stadiums and rabid home fans on TV. Wembley is pretty generic.

Is it possible that the NFL could schedule it so that the two teams competing in London are playing an away game, and still keep 8 home games in the US?  Doesnt really matter now, since they're moving to multiple games a year over there, making it harder to fix the schedule as away games.

I thought I remembered one there too.

The Cowboys were always popular south of the border. Give them one home game in Mexico City each year and they would probably fill up a 100,000 seat stadium easily.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
