Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams gave a fan one of his game gloves after Sunday's game, and that fan shared a picture of her son wearing the glove on Facebook.

Not only did Williams respond, thanking the fan for buying her son his jersey, but Williams also followed up with a separate post proclaiming how incidents like that are what make his job great.

I've been told...and I don't know if it's true or not, that over 90% of athlete and star facebook accounts are either fake or hired out

just saying, not sure if this falls into that

Judging from the grammatical errors at times and constant photos of his cute daughter throughout the week. I am 99% positive this account is genuinely controlled by DeAngelo..

If this account wasn't controlled by him, it would be creepy to have someone posting photos of his child and other activities..

Pretty sure that's true but that seems like it's authentic deangelo, based on just the way he types on twitter and FB

No way DWill doesn't control his.  He tends to retweet and respond to people talking crap to him (especially fantasy owners).  I doubt anyone doing it for him would do that.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup. • That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
