My step son is a Patriot fan asshole band wagon and I would love nothing more than to kick him out my house. Since I can't kick him out just yet watching the Patriots get demolished on Monday will be a close second.

I dont like getting Patriots off of a bye.  Bellichek (s?) is genius and probably cant wait to take the field.

 

1.   I dont mind facing a pocket passer.  As the Panthers defense said vs Ryan they prefer not chasing.

2.  That said we didnt get in Ryan's face as much as I thought - so I hope we do better vs a better team.

3.   We have to double Gronk and not wait until 2nd half adjustment.

4.  The book to beat us is still blitzing Cam.  Cam has to run more imo.

5.  Our receivers have to stop dropping balls.

6.  As others have stated we have to run...but I like screens and quick slants too.

7.  Take our shots downfield.  No one out runs Ginn...just aim it 10 yards ahead of him.....

I agree we should be taking at least two shots a game down field each game.

 

I expect Cam to play a lot better on Monday. Yesterday he never really looked comfortable and held on to the ball way too long. After he makes his reads he needs to get out of the pocket quicker and extend the play or just throw it away. Except actually throw it out of bounds from now on!

I'm honestly not worried about Gronk. I don't think McDermott is gonna allow the most talented player on the field to beat him. The deep ball to Dobson in 1v1 situations is what worries me, but if we get to Brady hopefully he won't have that opportunity.

Our offense will have a better game next week, Pats defense is not very good and they only have one good pass-rusher. Which is Nincovinch.
