We are actually 6th now in the NFL. Better odds than Indy, KC, Cincinnati..... Dallas.... wow. A win tonight would probably really go a long ways towards increasing these. Tonights' game is so huge.

Remember too that the Super Bowl will be in New York in February. I love our style to win over anyone in those conditions. Even the worst case scenario, playing at Seattle to get there doesn't scare me at this point. It's no more daunting than the Edward Jones Dome was in 2003 when we won there, and considering we let them off the hook the last two years, I don't see them being so fortunate should there be a third time. JMHO.

Could not agree more. We are better suited than an Indy who plays in a dome or a team who is in a constant warm weather client. We can also win a shootout or a defensive slugfest, whatever pace the game takes on.

SF have better odds, because it's odds to WIN the SB. Not just make the playoffs, etc.

The two teams are built a lot alike. I think the Niners are deeper on defense and special teams, and have a good OL that is playing like crap.

I'd still take the Panthers over them. Vegas can suck my left nut.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
