Cam's Alma Mater headed to BCS Championship

Call me an optimist, but could Auburn fortune be a postive Omen for the Panthers season? Think about! Auburn hadn't made a sound since Cam left three seasons ago. Is it a coincedence that they were struggling, just like Cam and the Panthers? And this season they are beating the odds, at the same time the Panthers are finally finding their stride?

I am not Fortune Teller but, I do believe in signs. Congrats to Auburn!! Come on Panthers, there is a Play-off spot with your name on it. Make it happen.

Holy poo, I was at the SECCG tonight and they just could not stop our rushing attack.

Tre Mason is a full grown man.  SHOULD be in NYC at the Heisman Ceremony (even if he won't win).

And then the Buck Nuts lose?

HOLY poo!

Yeah... I'm a lil excited.  :P

This Jameis kid reminds me of Cam in the pocket. Newton is much bigger and much more athletic but both possess identical passing styles (high and fast releases). Seriously, watching him struggle with sailing passes at the start of the game, firing laser beams down the middle of the field and launching 40-60 yard bombs effortlessly, it was like watching Cam at Auburn all over again.

I listened to the post-game on the field interview with Winston and he SOUNDED like Cam, with the same kind of mannerisms and reaching for terms that don't really mean what he thinks they mean.

Wow!!! Awesome there is proof of this being placed 11 month ago. It would be awesome to win $50,000, but imagine how pissed you would be after all this time if Auburn can't pull off a win?? Coming so close to winning $50,000 and then losing.... I would be sick to my stomach for weeks.

War Eagle!!!

Two completely independent incidents that have no physical connection, yet you believe they are related.

What's the term I'm looking for?

    • See that's the thing what I saw in game 2 was so embarrassing id rather they could just forfeit
    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so from the mind of a rational observer.
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
