How many sacks has 77 given up on the year?

Cam's fault. Every single one of them.

No. But some of them, yes. There are still some things he needs to work on.

Setting aside that discussion though, Bell is not a starter in the NFL. As we discussed a while back, he's starting because Rivera loves to reward "effort" guys. And that's cool and all, but the plain reality is he's just not good enough.

As a backup/rotational guy? Maybe. As a starter? No.

He's starting because he has one of the lowest cap figures on the team. There is no one behind him. If you bench Bell next week there is no one....Travis Bond? Somehow we have managed to win 9 games with him. The only difference tonight is Cam was dreadfully slow getting rid of the ball. I mean he was holding it over 4 seconds every drop back. It was a miracle he wasn't sacked more.

That doesn't seem right, didn't he give up 4 to MW then 2 vs 49ers and 2 vs Pats just off the top of my head.

Not sure how they assign who gave up sacks. But according to them he gave up: 3 v the Bills, 1 v AZ and 1 v the Pats.

I know there isn't a better option right now.

But next year? Yeah, that spot needs an upgrade.
