Shula....coaching

Lol weeks ago you loved Shula now demanding for him to be fired?

He has nothing to work with. And it seems like theres no room for someone to come into the offense. Hixon got in because of Smitty being hurt. They love to stick with lafell and Ginn.

Its not horrible play calling its horrible execution. I wonder if he would be more diverse if we had more play makers.

Stupidity here never ceases to surprise me.

You kind of expect some complaining after a loss. Folks tend to over react.

But after a win? Why over react? Nit pic if you must. But going all whiney after a win is just too childish. go ahead and find fault, and even question certain aspects. But this over reacting crap is just too much.

11-4 and folks want to fire ooaches, bench players, and rebuild the entire roster. WTF is wrong with these folks? Generation Xers and their "Give it to me now" attitudes. Gonna ruin it for the rest of us.

Guys, it's not just about this game.  Shula's play calling has been atrocious at best over the course of several games.  We are tied for second best in turnover margin at +11.  That does a lot for the offense, and some of those were defensive scores.  Something definitely has to be done in the off season.

If the offense doesn't score 24+ points fire the OC.

If the defense gives up too many points, fire the DC.

If we don't win the game fire the head coach.

Normally, I would agree with this, only after the season, not after every single freakin game.

Some of you people are retarded. Ya I was pissed about some of the play calling today but most of you forget that outside of Cam we dont have that much going for us on the offensive side of the ball. Shula's play calling has moved the ball with a makeshift O-line and limited weapons.

The offense overall struggled today. Cam missed some throws today that should have moved the chains. Am i blaming Cam...no he's human and had a off game until the end.

This game was won and was given away primarily by Shula, inept passing and Analytical Ron making a end of season comeback

Dude, are you watching the game? We have no receviers. Coaching can only do so much. The reason Brees makes it look easy is because he has two 6'5 WRs and a bunch of other skill players around him.

The chances of R R firing Shula after a 11 or 12 win season are slim to none. Every face you see on the sidelines this year will be back next year as far as coaches go unless some team poaches one or two. Like it or not, Rivera pushed for Shula and will keep him unless this whole thing implodes next year.

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
