People dont seem to realize that Gettleman's show is the NYG philosophy.

He didn't run the show in NYG he was in the scouting team. you can not base how he is going to draft based on another GM from NY......if anything his philosophy is building the line  and that's what where taking in the 1st round

He was taught of a certain way of how to build a champiosnhip team for more than a decade. You really think he'd just abandon that way of life overnight? Sure, hes going implement some new ideas but not completely change it.

This philosohy of his that yall keep talking about of building through the line: look NYG. Wow!

I know he wasnt the one calling the shot in NY but im sure as hell he had a lot to do with the process. Just saying, but he could really be one of the main reason why NYG never took an OT.

Gettlemen has 2 rings on his fingers based on the NY Philosophy, so why would he change what isn't broken. In NY they fix the Dline in the 1st with hog mollies but got oline hog mollies in later rounds.

People are so stuck on hog mollies but fell to see that when NY had a pick similar to what we have now they took Hakeem Nicks. Now wouldn't a prospect like that make sense for Cam this draft.

Our oline gives Cam time to throw but no one gets open. the biggest flaws in our oline is they don't create Running lanes for our expensive backfield.

QFT, Exactly. We just need a fuging mauler or two to make holes. You can find guys like that outside of the first, or FA.

Yup, exactly.

They took Tuck (05) then Kiwauuka (06). Drafted Steve Smith who helped caught 5 passes in the SB.

Then turned around and drafted Nicks who should have been the SB MVP two drafts later.

As much as I want an OT in the 1st, I dont see Gman going that route at 28.

Honestly, I think we should hold out for an OT with our late picks.  James Hurst, JuWuan James, or Seantrel Henderson are all solid OT's that should be available late.  Most feel we're going WR with our first pick and with Hardy most likely gone, we need to go after a DE early as well.  Michael Sam and Scott Crichton would be my top picks.  Heck, it wouldn't surprise me to see us going after Easley as well.

1 - WR

2 - DE

3 - CB

4 - OT

5 - S

6 - WR

7 - OLB

    • "Too Finesse" is a mild way to put it  I would say weak as wet tissue paper  Because they are just a collection of individuals, just going through the motions Someone gets cheapshotted and injured, why should they risk suspension or fine for a teamate ? Rod has instituted this weak mr nice guy forgive and forget culture, resulting in real teams owning us in the playoffs, Toronto put up more of a fight to Florida than we did last playoffs, let that sink in
    • Apparently making the playoffs is good enough for Dundon, otherwise he would be gone by now  Course now that the league knows the slightest physicality and we come unglued, we might not even do that anymore
