Panthers that have Rings

I think sometimes simply being there before....not necessarily having won can matter. We have a lot of players who have played in conference championships before. I think that matters. Those are deep playoff runs. That is a fairly long list.

Outside of Cam going down I think the Smitty injury is going to hurt is the most. We've seen how many big plays he's made in the post season

Lafell hasnt shown it of late, but he has shown flashes of brilliance in the past. His consistency just, well, sucks. Don't think he's a viable No 2 receiver long term, but for the next month, that really doesn't matter.

Why doesn't matter next month?

Robert Lester is a big time player and a keeper. I know he's a rookie but he came from playing on the big stage almost his entire career. How many players can say they have 3 BCS championships? His play shows it too. That kid will be a difference maker in the playoffs mark my words

I don't think any injury would even be in the conversation with a Cam injury.

As Rivera said, Cam made some high throws and that was brutal.....but the read, WR and looks were still there against Atl.

89 isn't what he was. If Cam has an "on day" and the D shows up we have a shot against anyone IMO. Cam goes down.....we are done. Zero offense.

If 89 makes it back he will still just be a 50 yard a game type WR

Thats fair. Funny thing is that you can watch Cam in warmups and tell what kind of day its going to be

    • Jack Roslovic: Only 2 other UFA, right-handed centers age 28 or under had more points (39) than him- Sam Bennett (51) and Pius Suter (46). There were 4 other centers age 33 and older who scored more: Gireaux (37), Marchand (37), Tavares (34), Granlund (33).  Unless the Canes go old, if they let Jack walk, they won't get a center who scored more.  Thoughts?
    • nope     This is why we come back every year.  Hope springs eternal
    • It's important to differentiate criticism and hate. I can't speak for that individual you quoted. But most people who have been critical of the Tepper's have been so because both of them have made it a point to put themselves front and center and in the middle of team operations and we have been largely horrific more often than not as a result. If people are making derogatory remarks about her that should be met with an appropriate response but if people are being defensive just because she's being criticized all I can say is people should get used to it. Both her and David would have been getting absolutely skewered by the media and the fans if this were a big market franchise. The Lakers are finally being sold off after years and years of public criticism of Jeannie Buss and even though I'm the furthest you could go from being a Lakers fan just about anyone you could meet who is familiar with the NBA would say the criticism was certainly valid.
