I'm expecting a tough match up against whoever we play.

If we play SF I expect it to be close all the way to the end. If it's GB I could see a very similar situation to the Colts/Chiefs game last night. We have to keep Rodgers from taking the game over.

Either way the passing game has to be there. The offense has to show us something it hasn't in previous weeks.

We are 12-4 the #2 overall seed in the playoffs and have a top young QB this is a bit different situation than the jags and quite frankly im tired of our OWN fans doubting us

Dude it's fairweather to be in the playoffs and automatically decide that a matchup is an automatic loss. Especially since we beat the 49ers in their own house. I really don't know what to tell you about that.

i know, i'm just saying that saying you expect to lose does not automatically mean you aren't a fan. pessimist? sure. debbie downer? all day. heartless milquetoast? yep.

not a fan though?

that's ridiculous.

You have to have faith in your team otherwise what is the point? Try telling our players that they will lose to their face and try to see what type of reaction that gets out of them. They would probably say the same thing we have been saying. You aren't a real fan if you are expecting your team to lose period. Being nervous is ok but flat out expecting the loss? No I'm sorry.

Also the thing is that you can be pessimistic about our match up with the niners without expecting a loss. Greatestofalltime is just flatout expecting a loss. We might as well not show up to the game and mark the W in the win column for the niners. Explain to me how a panther fan should be ok with that type of atitude.

When you have Shula as your OC, your offense is going to suffer

Im not nessecarily at shula fan but just a thought...which OC would have done a better job with our Oline and WR core ? i agree there are plenty of bonehead calls and wtf moments but we are 12-4 with him an aging smitty, stone hands donald and a swinging door right side of the oline....just wondering who was available that could have installed a new offense and done a better job in one year

Sooooo micheal crabtree and his 19 rec and 1 td are gonna make a HUUUGGEE difference...they were on a 5 game winning steak and hot last time we played them at THEIR house....our defense is hotter than ever right now...the Kraken has 7 sacks in 2 weeks...our defense sacked Matt ryan 9 times i repeat 9 times...kap and his 58.4% complettion percentage is gonna somehow turn into peyton manning...you think gore is gonna run all over us??? the one factor you seem to be forgetting is our young QB and his will to win...i dont see cam allowing us to lose...i see a special performance in the making from him on the biggest stage of his life

okay then... we'll see.

If you don't think the Panthers will win, then you aren't a fan. Period. The team/players believe, so should the people who claim to support them. Im not saying we should overlook anyone or the Panthers will roll whoever they play, but there is a HUGE difference between saying 'SF will be one hell of an opponent and im being objective towards our chances at a W' vs 'we play San Fran, chalk that up as a loss.' You are in the latter camp.

Im calling BS on your whole "Panthers are my fav thing in life", no thats garbage. You are someone masquerading as a fan. You get to play the i told you so card when they lose and you get to cheer when they win, no, thats not how fandom works. At absolute best, you are a fair weather fan, which could be considered worse than being a Falcons or Taints fan.

As previously stated, your fan card has been revoked. Your pro Panther posts are now considered NULL and VOID.

I reserve the right to think whatever I want, and you will have a glass of stfu regardless of what I do.

It is my opinion, and I think I'm right and you few neanderthals who believe "we are going to win every week just because I am a truefan" can carry on that way without any consequence as well.

If we play green bay, we will win and go to the NFCC game in Seattle. If San Fran comes to town I think they get their revenge for a couple reasons. I give a fat baby's dick about you revoking my fan card. I was a Panthers fan long before you and will be one long after. You probably didn't even watch football before 1995.

    • I don't necessarily think he will be moved, I would currently be leaning against that notion. I think a lot will depend on the coaching situation. Carroll certainly can't be thinking about wanting to go through a serious strip down and overhaul, so the longer he plans to remain, the less likely I think Crosby gets moved.
    • I think everyone says Mike Evans because of size, but really they have different strengths and play styles.  Tmac is better on intermediate routes and not nearly as good at contested catches.
    • At this point, it is criminal to go into the 2026 training camp/OTA's with XL penciled in as a #2 WR. The team must upgrade, either through free agency or the draft. If he cannot give 100% effort on significantly less snaps as a #4-6 WR(players like Tremayne have done that consistently) then I don't think you have a player worth rostering beyond the trade deadline. Offensively, we eventually have to upgrade to an NFL starting caliber C. It's been almost the length of time from Gross to Ikey since Kalil retired and we have below average to terrible C play. Love Mays as a BC-esque utility backup but he will never be an above average long term starting C.  The TE room is one of the worst in the NFL but it's a low usage position in this offense, so the investments are likely to be small, if any. I would never expect to see an elite TE in a Dave Canales offense. 100% agree on OL depth. We actually aren't bad there but BC will be gone, Mays is a UFA, Corbett is a UFA and Zavala has been both injured and bad. We have to bolster that depth again or resign guys like Mays and Corbett to keep that depth somewhat stable.
