Very proud of this team....I would not have believed they would have made it this far based on talent level, but, sometimes, team sports like football, heart trumps talent and that can't be measured by predictive analyticsand a stop watch.

One reason I'm Sam Mills Fan is because Sam Mills once bought a ton of groceries for my family when it was just me and my mom and my brother and we were poor as fug. He didn't know us and it wasn't like he was doing it to get in my mom's pants. He just did it because it was the right thing to do. And since I was wearing a Panthers shirt, he talked to me about the team for a couple of minutes not knowing he was already my favorite player. Left a lasting impact because I now help feed Charlotte homeless every week and I've done so for years. That's the kind of person Sam Mills was, not to mention on the field he was always prepared, was almost always the fastest player on the field, and was absolutely the best player leader the team has ever had.
