Started well, let it go to his head. Got beat again and again, and again. Looks like he will be finding somewhere else to play next year.

munnerlyn's play went downhill after mikell was replaced with lester...who may as well not even been on the field because he was invisible the entire time.

He's been bad for most of the season. Only had a few good games that have really been blown out of proportion.

Just a limited player who is being asked to do way too much. We should be angry at the people putting him in a position to fail, not him.

Captain Munnerlyn is a solid corner back, he's just not a number 1 cb, he can't cover and lock. Down elite receivers. I n the nfl, our secondary has been weak and a glaring weakness for our team for several seasons. We don't have the corners , so we play our best corner who is clearly more suited for.the nickel, out of position because of our lack of depth and experience

Munnerlyn doesn't need to be a starter

On this team. Clearly he's out matched and cannot guard a true number 1 or 2 receiver.

If Captain stays, league minimum and he should get a reduced role only in the nickel.  I hate the poo we let go of Chris Gamble.  Rivera is a dumbass, he got Gettis hurt and was partially responsible for Gambles departure.  Rivera is defensive minded but when it counts he is vanilla.   Every year he hasn't proven anything even with previous teams.

He's been beat Badly all season.  His bright spots have been when he slid to Nickel

munnerlyn's a pretty good nickel but he needs to stay there. he can't be left on the edges against big, physical receivers because he just doesn't have the wingspan or frame to compete

This is 100% correct. We all know captain'a limitations, why put him in a position where he won't be able to play his best.

Captain is an amazing special teams player. That doesn't mean he's an incredible DB. Let him just play special teams. Tasker did it for years in buffalo and was one of the best.
