Y'all are fuging dumb.

First episode was great and the show is going to be great.

I really liked it because at the end of the episode I still had no clue where this is going...

I also think Harrelson and McConaughey are a good team for the show.

The wife fell asleep on the couch while I was transfixed trying to figure it out. Very cool.

I absolutely loved it. Honestly can't remember a premiere I liked more in a really long time.

The direction of the show, this season and beyond will be interesting. 8 episode season I believe? And then a complete cast/plot change for the following season(s). Can't wait to see where it goes this year.

it was meh. i don't buy mcconaughey as this philosophical crazy guy at all.

I guess you never seen "Fraility" which is awesome.

He has the acting chops.. Just loves those paychecks from the romantic comedies of the ealy 2000's

Or Mud.  McConaughey is a helluva talented actor and the perfect choice for this role.

Along with most of the other posters I very much enjoyed it.

I also think that its visually very interesting.  Cinematography is on par with Breaking Bad.

Just my guess, but the 2012 Rustin knows that the person convicted for the 95 or whatever year murder was not the real killer. This probably leads him to become disenchanted with the police dept. and leaving. They were obviously under some political pressure to produce a suspect, hence the preacher guy he was rude to in the station.

Also, Harrelson's character is banging the girl who came into the office briefly.

    • It's just a talking head.  Talking about gambling. If anybody takes the under on 4.5 wins, they're most likely losing their money.   So he's only saying if you want to bet on a possible sleeper, take the over.  It's not rocket science.  Pathetic that so many on the huddle have reduced themselves to posting purely trash every time they hit the submit button.
    • I mean I think the best case scenario has to hit for the Panthers and everyone else in the NFCS has to hit their worst case scenario.  Personally, I think this is the year that NO finally collapses and I think they finish 4th in the division regardless.  ATL is overrated but still likely a 6-9 win team. TB plays tough football, their defense will be there but their success depends on the offense, they too are a 6-9 win team.  The Panthers are probably 4-6 wins at best. If they find some sort of momentum during the season and get 7-8 wins, and TB and ATL struggle then maybe but I find it very unlikely.
    • We screwed up a couple years ago taking Bryce in the first place.  Nobody held a gun to our head to jump from #9 to #1.  Most people who keep up with draft news knew this 2024 QB class was loaded and we should have waited, which I advocated. It was a dumb move and I knew it.  Now we have to roll with Bryce another year.  That's fine, because this 2025 class isn't that great.  I like Ewers, but not super high on him.  If Bryce shows improvement, which I think he will, that should get him at least one more season before we have to decide on if he's the permanent answer or not.  I've said before, the 2026 draft is the next window for a franchise QB if Bryce isn't the answer. Bryce gets this year and next at a minimum.
