FREE AGENCY:

LET GO:

Hardy: I don't want to think about a tag and trade because I don't know how realistic it is or isn't but we don't have the funds to resign him after a monster year.

Others:

Bell, Brockell, Byers, Campbell, Dockery, Hangartner, Hixon, Lafell, Munnerlyn, and Gary Williams.

RESIGN:

Anderson, Cole, Florence, Gano, Ginn, Gross, Mitchell, Mikell, and Wharton

NEW SIGNINGS:

Jared Allen: Cheaper and shorter term than what Hardy will want.

DRAFT:

1st Taylor Lewan 6-7 315 lbs OT Michigan- This guy is a potential LT of the future that finds himself falling because his team wasn't as good and he has an attitude problem sometimes. I think we get a steal here!

2nd Paul Richardson 6-1 172 lbs WR Colorado- Not a huge receiver but he's the best available with very good speed. Could be a steal that falls because he's from a small school.

3rd Aaron Colvin 6-0 192 lbs Oklahoma- We have to bolster the back 4 and this is a good start.

4th Seantrel Henderson 6-7 345 lbs OT Miami- This is a great developmental right tackle that may be able to contribute immediately.

5th Vinnie Sunserie 6-0 210 SS Alabama- He's injured but after he's recovered he could be a really good asset to have.

6th Deion Belue 5-11 183 CB Alabama- A late flyer on a guy who could contribute early. Alabama plays a zone scheme and he could come and play since we may or may not bring back some of the vet defensive backs.

7th L'Damion Washington 6-4 205 lbs WR Missouri- A big receiver who's unpolished but who has all the physical assets you want.

    • Been here a while but rarely post and most of them are smartazz. Mostly lurk just so I can sound informed while hanging out drinking beer in my neighbors garage. Amusingly a Huddle level of knowledge kind of makes you a subject matter expert. Thanks for that.
    • That’s similar as saying MVP Cam is the same as rookie Cam because his mechanics didn’t change. We’re talking about production.
    • In 2025 Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young on 1 less pass attempt. Repeat that to yourself several times and let it sink in. I absolutely love it when people come on here and invoke Sam Darnold like some gotcha. Darnold is the physical prototype for what anyone needs in a franchise QB. All the physical tools. Few people thought he would put it all together on the mental side of the position. He used to make some of the worst decisions you would ever see. At times in the past he made up for that with absurd throws and athleticism. But make no mistake whatsoever no matter how you feel about our starting QB. Bryce Young is a completely opposite conundrum. He lacks virtually any and all physical tools and athleticism and his elite processing is really mediocre at best on a good day and horrific on a bad day. These are realities people should have already been addressing instead of quadrupling down in year four.
