That would seem to suggest that the Seahawks should be comfortable favorites in this game; with that being said, that’s not really the case. I would be lying if I didn’t say that it feels like the 49ers are playing their best football of the season, and while that’s usually just nonsense, San Francisco is on an eight-game winning streak that has seen it welcome key contributors like Michael Crabtree and Aldon Smith back into the fold. It just outmuscled the 12-4 Panthers in Carolina in what was probably the team’s most impressive win of the year.

I wouldn't say it was very impressive... unless they've had a really unimpressive season.  They just shut down our already anemic offense; our defense can only do so much. Nice to see the love though.

We are in year one of a two-year rebuilding program.  And we were 12-4 this year.  Both teams should be going for it this year, because next year might be ours.

what was impressive was how big a role the refs played in the outcome of the game. it was their biggest game of the season.

Since I truly believe Cam is the Michael Jordan of football (and we also have the best MLB in the game at age 22), I truly believe the next 12-15 years will be the best dynasty the salary cap era has ever and will ever see.

They were anemic overall but we were moving the ball at will on them in that first half, just couldn't punch it in when it mattered

But while the word "unstoppable" is often bantered about in generic hyperbole, it will soon rear itself on the big screen when our 24 year old two time pro bowl qb actually has weapons around him and additional experience (this year is only the 4th year he's played of big time college or NFL football). The average age of Super Bowl winning QBs is 30 and it took Michael 7 years to win his first. Records were made to be broken, and, lucky us, we get to enjoy in the Blessed Queen City of Charlotte, NC. The first five time Super Bowl winning QB? While every year is it's own unique odyssey and we haven't even won our first yet, I truly believe it.
