Growl's Senior Bowl South Practice Thread

Growl

Talked to Mike Craft. He said, of his own accord, that he spoke to Mr. Gettleman and that the team is determined to get some weapons around Cam this offseason.

So there ya go.

you should probably make a thread in the main forum about that. but that is encouraging to hear. I would think Gettleman was insane if he didn't believe that.

mmkay the more i look up hoffman the more i like. this kid is immensely talented. how have i not heard of this guy?

Every year, there's guys you've never heard of who suddenly get themselves on team's radar screens at the Senior Bowl.  It's one of the things I love about the game.

Gotta be careful though, because sometimes guys who look incredible in practice utterly disappear when the game is played.

I think this is a decent scouting report on Hoffman. Main concern is speed, but says he can use his physicality to create seperation kind of like Anquan Boldin.

since guys want to find the next smitty, he fits that mold. smaller WR with 4.3 speed from LA area. tough as nails too, will take huge hits.

He's thick too, look at his calves if you get a chance to watch practice. I think Herron has the ideal build at his height to succeed in the NFL.

Any idea what his vert is like?
