Kiper declares Manziel the best QB in the Draft

Hate Manziel as a person, but Johnny Football can flat out ball.

I have to agree with Kiper here. I believe that Manziel is a notch better than Bridgewater. Just seeing how much the mobile QBs are impacting this league, Manziel has to be the favorite. The kid will make something out of nothing.

Whoever takes Manziel (Houston, Rams, Bucs, Minnnesota, Buffalo, or Tennessee) will make the Playoffs next season. Thats a bold prediction from me.

Manziel is garbage. He is 2-3rd talent hyped to the level of a first.

Bridgewater is just a flat out qb than him

Brett Smith from Wyoming is what Manziel should be

Murray, Mettenberger, Jimmy G and possibly Bortles are all better

Don't get caught up in the hype

He is nowhere close to being a russell wilson.

Don't know why many on here believe Manziel will be a bust, kid is a warrior and easily the best playmaker in the draft. If A&M had a decent defense while he played they wouldn't have lost a game. Team like Houston would benefit having him. Does he need to learn how to be a pro? Sure does, but so did Cam.

Manziel is a college playmaker. As we have seen many, many times before, they can certainly fail. Having gaudy college numbers does not equal professional success. He plays a very "on-the-edge" and erratic style of play. There is nothing systematic about what he does, which I think is crucial to NFL success.

However, I can't say the guy will not be a successful NFL quarterback. He is physically gifted and seems to be in the mold of what NFL execs are looking for in QBs. If I had to absolutely HAD to pick, I'd say he won't be a starting QB in 4 years.

I'm gonna be real interested to see where Mettenberger goes.

He looked pretty good before the injury.

Sans the current players in the NFL no QB 6'1" or under has been a Hall of Famer since 1970.

Manziel has a worse arm than Bridgewater

He has a worse attitude

He put up the same numbers through the air with a much better supporting cast than Bridgewater

He doesn't have great mechanics

He has a weaker arm than Bridgewater

I'm not saying Manziel won't succeed, I'm just saying that between him and Teddy, I'm choosing Teddy every time.

Cam is also 6'6 250 lbs, even more athletic than Manziel and has a lazer guided missile for an arm

When you are as physically gifted as Cam you can get away with damn near anything

    • I tend to look at all of these guys and wonder how committed they are to doing special teams? It's a big deal when you're fighting for roster spots. And we need massive refreshes to all phases of the special teams game. And the idea that four or five of these players could see rotational use outside of special teams would be a win. This team has accumulated quite a bit of dead wood over the last five years and its time to take an axe to some of it. These new fellows have a shot to benefit from that if they can really push. That being said, wow that receivers room is crowded right now. I'm not sure if I was a vet player with more than 2 years experience other than Adam Thielen if I'd be too sure of my future here. Tet is guaranteed a spot, Coker earned his for sure and they aren't done with XL developing yet. That's only two to three spots left for the entire room. It's going to be very competitive and better for Bryce's future, too. Safety and linebacker are the opportunity spots here this season. There's room for the right guy and we may see a starter eventually from one of these UDFAs, either by merit or injury.
    • Aho and Jarvis just gripping it too tight right now. Relax, play their 200 ft game and the shots will start to find the net. Freddie has been excellent and welcome back Mista Svechnikov. Burns.....well, thank goodness for Slavin.
    • Supposedly he plans on staying in college for all 4 years.
