Fantasy Article on Marvin McNutt

We stole him off another teams practice squand and Gettleman added the guy to the 53 man roster on a team that had championship aspirations.

While no one really knows how well he will pan out.  The notion that he could be as good as any WR in the draft isn't that far off base.  With the exception of maybe Watkins and one or two others.  There is no guarantee they will be surefire starters.

If we had picked him up after the season many would think Camp Fodder but I am hoping that G'man knows what he is doing. I hope our WR corps will be overhauled and McNutt will be a key pick up for us.

Sometimes you got to look outside the box.  I just don't see why Gettleman did what he did just to take him from another team.   If he took him, we have plans for him.

I thought he said AFTER the 1st or 2nd round.  As in he'd be fine with McNutt than a 3rd and beyond receiver.

Maybe I'm mistaken.

That is exactly what I said.  Dorn just has an issue with sounding out two syllable words, so he skips most of them when reading.

Claiming you have family members that attended a B10 school doesn't make you anymore credible speaking on McNutt's playing ability. I have a cousin who is a doctor, but that doesn't qualify me on passing along medical advice. es.

Dear God you really are an ignorant little fug, arent' you.

I only mentioned family members as alum to Big10 games as a reason why I watch a lot of Big 10 football.  The fact that I saw over half of McNutt's senior season games is the reason that I can make an educated post about his actual football ability.  Unlike you....who has never seen him play, but thinks that you have ANYTHING to add.

You really need to re-enroll in that remedial reading class at the local community college.

Found this today while doing some dynasty football research...

Here's a piece from an article (trying to find a good link) from Rotoviz that compares their final season of college football:

It basically compares McNutt to Hakim Nicks which is interesting considering a lot of people around here (including myself) want to see Nicks in the future.  He explains that the same comparisons were made about Stevie Johnson with Reggie Wayne and Wayne was a 1st rounder while Johnson was a 7th.  Obviously Wayne is a better receive but Johnson is pretty underrated and has had some good seasons.

It's also interesting because of what Gettlemen said earlier this offseason about having guys on the roster that just needed to get a chance to play.  The similarities are striking, I'm not sold by any means but at least this gives us a decent comparison of what McNutt brings to the table.

Enjoy

This is like saying Dwayne Jarrett is just as good as AJ Green
