The Official NFL Combine Thread

Recommended Posts

LOL!

So I'm actually paying attention to the combine today & I see the crawler posting times for the OL & I see 4.46, 4.40, 4.42, etc...

I see names of OTs I've been checking out & go "HOLYCRAPWTFBBQTITTYSPRINKLES!?!??!!??" thinking they are 40 times... when they are 20 times.

Don't know if anyone has said this but wow at Manziel running a 4.68..I really expected him to be sub 4.5. I know there's more to being a QB, but if I'm a GM I'd have a tough time drafting a 5'11 "running" QB who runs a 4.68. I mean, if you're going to draft a smaller guy who can run, he should be lightning fast at least (Vick/RG3) to justify taking on his injury risk.... Russell Wilson comparisons are kind of irrelevant here because he was always more of a pure pocket passer who could scramble rather than a run first guy.

Calvin Johnson Jr?

Julio Jones?

I was quoting NFL.com's online coverage of the combine. Must've been an oversight on their part.  Megatron did run a 4.35 and J. Jones ran a 4.39.  Good catch.  You need to take Matt Millen's place on the network.
