So... It turns out you can't poo all over respected veterans and find comparable replacements after all...

Gettleman clearly stated when he got here, and reiterated it this off season that because of our cap problem, it will be two to three years before we can be real players in free agency. Until then we have to be patient and find diamonds in the rough. Do none of you pay attention? Why is it so fuging difficult to get that through your thick skulls?

We had cap room, until he franchisefuged us with Hardy. Even after Hardy we still had room to nab Nicks, and say Ginn. Instead we went retarded, signed no names, and players we've been ragging on all last year.

1 year 3.5 for a potential #1 receiver for a team with nothing at the position is considered a big player?

Trust Gettleman guys, Steve Smith is washed up. Derp.

So washed up that an established, highly-respected, highly-successful executive with a long track record of building contenders signed him to a three-year deal.

I reiterate...  fug GETTLEMAN.

It was not about money or production.

We only have like 3 mil in free agency $ you simpletons?

Where is that gif with cat chasing its tail?

Being that your thoughts have yet to evolve from this initial observation you keep hardlining on, you may just want to keep watching it yourself.

This wasn't a big signing in monetary terms.  So what is the excuse now?  Is Hurney holding his wallet now?  Is Hurney calling all of the free agents and telling them to not come here?

LOL.

Prior to FA, the Saints were 15mil over the cap. They managed to tag Graham, and bring in the top player in the secondary for $50million plus. The cap can be manipulated for a team that is serious about winning.

No no no...  You don't understand!  This is all about Hurney!  We're going to suck for 10 years because of Hurney and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it because we're us and not any of those other teams that care about winning.  We're destined for loserdom.  We should accept it! • It is, but if they want to compete for a national championship, they have to schedule games like this.  It worked for them a couple of years ago when they scheduled LSU to start the season.  Well, it worked until their qb got knocked out.
    • Hunter wanted to play for Carolina and seemingly only for Carolina.  He didn't make the team.  His comeback attempt was not to achieve the status of the on and off practice squad team (for a bad team).  So I would assume he most likely just walks away.  only inconsistent aspect ever reported or seen (and cameras and eyeballs are on all of it), is when they put him in preseason games w/ a bad QB throwing hospitals (and he still pulled in hospital balls) and zero positive plays occurring because of that.  Every coach we have ever had bullshits on the mic about the actions of the Panthers.    I still say its simplistic.  There was really one spot.  It was Moore or Renfrow up for that.   Dave Canales went with his guy (simply because it's his guy) and he can't get on the mic say it that way.  So there is spin on the decision.
    • Evero tried to leave! He wanted out! That the most amazing thing.  mark my words that move by tepper will haunt us for years. Completely unheard of in that situation.
