Eagles MLB Bradley tears ACL, out for year.

Consider me now concerned...hard to overcome losing the 3 defensive leaders in such a short time frame....(Dawkins,Jim Johnson, now Bradley). I just hope the bleeding stops here.

Yeah...that is pretty hard on any defensive unit to lose that much in less than 6 months.

Sorry it's starting out so rough for ya JR. We're all getting nervous since it's been a long time since these guys juked and jived in the heat.....sucks when this happens...

Likely replacement = Omar Gaither per PFT

mphs '02 represent!

Yeah, I have always liked Gaither but he was barely holding onto a job in Philly last year...now he is the signal caller of the defense......I do have faith in him though, he has experience.

I am just glad this happened early on...better now than at the beginning of the season. Gaither has time to get the reps in. (As Madhatter said)

Why do teams go so hard so early? Take a week and get some kinks out and then smack em.

Oh well

It was during the scrimmage of The Eagles "Fight Night" which is similar to your fanfest. Just a scrimmage for the fans at the stadium, wasn't there so I don't know how hard they were going at it, but Bradley is pretty intense. May have just been a freak thing.

*Edit* Actually just heard there was no contact at all and it was just a freak thing and that is typical for an ACL.

    • I don't agree with this, he looks jacked to me.  His frame won't allow him to ever be as big as XL, and that's fine.  He will just have a hard time with press, there are ways to deal with that.
    • that type of QB, especially paired with a weaker NFL arm.....excel with quick game weapons though.   it sounds like you are a big Tmac homer.  I mean, if you are watching every snap he played in college.   So, it's safe to say we likely won't see eye to eye on expectations for year 1.   And my expectations on Tmac aren't all in his control.  As I have also said, elsewhere, this is really year 2 for Bryce.  So I expect the first half of the season to carry healthy odds of a year 2 regression (specifically the first half).  Film, tendencies, and weaknesses in Dave's offense are going to be prepared for.    out of curiosity, what cons to Tmac's game where in the scouting stuff you saw?
    • Maybe a weeeee bit exaggerating. I think he will be a great player. But that doesn’t look like someone that was super committed in the weight room during college which is just a little confusing. Maybe he cut some weight to try and run a better 40. We saw Julio come into the league a little skinnier, get bigger/stronger and really start dominating. Strength and size is important as a big physical x receiver. It’s not so important for the Devonta Smith role
