Lazy reporting annoys me, like when Yasinskas said Gettleman had never been a college scout. All you had to do was read his bio to know otherwise. A number of us on here had done so. Why wouldn't someone getting paid to know these things do it?

my take from this interesting turn of events;

 

1)  our beat reporters suck 

 

2)  it is not necessarily all their fault.  the panthers brain trust does not work the reporters like other teams/markets do.  they are ok with NOT sending a "heads up" to their media partner(s) to dish out a scoop and keep their fans tuned in and informed.  They could give a fug.

 

3)  If Gabe fugging Weissman can learn spanish so can I!
